Anurag Kashyap on Newton: It is not a copy of The Secret Ballot

New Delhi: After Newton was chosen as India's official entry to the Oscars, the Rajkummar Rao starrer was believed to be similar to the Iranian film, The Secret Ballot. 

But noted film director Anurag Kashyap talked to the producer and director of The Secret Ballot and has finally put an end to all the speculations regarding the film. Kashyap took to social media platform Facebook to share that Newton is not a copy of The Secret Ballot. He supports his post with statements from the producer and director of the Iranian film.
