New Delhi: In recent times, several Punjabi singers and rappers have made it big in the music industry and one such name which has been making waves right now is Dahek, also known as desi Pitbull.
Dahek is out with his latest single titled 'Two-Seater' and told us how his music is entirely different from the ones already existing in the market. His latest track has him doing a cool rap in Haryanvi and a mix of Hindi-English, giving that edge to the song.
When asked about his track, he said: “It's a peppy number which you just enjoy while listening. It's about a beautiful girl where a boy is singing for his ladylove and wants to impress her. He is basically appreciating her beauty.”
Dahek expressed his love for Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, candidly confessing that he admires bhaijaan and follows him. He said, “I love Salman Khan and I feel I have learnt a lot from him. And for me if someone says Bollywood star, it means Salman Khan.”
Adding, “I would love to collaborate with Salman and simply put I want to be the Salman Khan of music industry.” Also, he has a separate folder of songs solely dedicated to Sallu Bhai.
Aarti, who featured in the 'Two-Seater' video said, “I felt comfortable while shooting the song as the set was beautiful and it was an amazing experience.”
They have some major plans to release a couple of more songs this year and early next year.
