Mumbai: Everyone in the film industry wants to be in the good books of Salman Khan and no one really wants to mess with him. Sushant Singh Rajput, reportedly did something that irked the Bollywood superstar so much that he ended up receiving an earful from him.
According to a report in Filmfare, Sushant behaved rudely with Sooraj Pancholi, Salman’s protégé. The young actor was reportedly in a state of shock since there was no reason why Sushant had to be so rude to him.
And when this new reached Salman, he immediately made a phone call to Sushant and asked him to pull up his socks. The Sultan of Hindi cinema even asked Sushant to stay away from Sooraj.
The M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story actor, on realising that he had rubbed Salman the wrong way, quickly apologised for his behaviour and even vowed to never repeat the mistake again.
Salman had launched Sooraj (son of actor Zarina Wahab and Aditya Pancholi) in his home production Hero a couple of years back. The Bollywood titan is extremely protective about his mentees and has stood rock solid for them.
Sushant made his Bollywood debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai Po Che! In 2013. The actor became a star overnight and had become one of the most sought after actors immediately. He was roped in by Yash Raj Films for Shuddh Desi Romance and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy – but both these films proved to be a dud at the Box Office. He claimed his Box Office spot with Neeraj Pandey’s M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story but couldn’t quite keep up the impressive spell. Raabta failed to impress the audience and it tanked miserably at the Box Office. He is presently busy with Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath which will launch Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan in Bollywood. He has Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan’s Chandamama Door Ke in his kitty.
