The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Sunday raided the residence of Bollywood producer Firoz Nadiadwala in Mumbai. The development comes hours after the NCB conducted raids at several drug peddlers' house and arrested five of them from different locations.

Citing an example of reportage on the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the petitioners said that though they do not seek a blanket gag order against media reportage into the case investigation but merely sought a perpetual and mandatory injunction against the defendants from carrying on with the reportage that violates applicable laws. The suit has been filed by DSK Legal on behalf of the plaintiffs.

The Delhi High Court will hear on Monday a petition filed by four Bollywood associations and 34 producers to seek a restraint on select media channels from making or publishing what they dubbed as "irresponsible, derogatory and defamatory" remarks against Hindi film industry and its members.

Karishma Prakash visited the NCB office multiple times this week to record her statement. The NCB had summoned her on October 28 after it allegedly seized 1.7 gm of hashish during a search at her residence in Mumbai.
