New Delhi: Rumours of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's wedding have been doing rounds for sometimes. Recently, there was buzz that the couple would tie the knot in London after the release of Sonam's upcoming film, 'Veere Di Wedding'.
However, as per a Mumbai Mirror report, the wedding will take in Geneva, and not London as reported earlier.
Apparently, Sonam and Anand will have a two-day ceremony as per the Hindu rituals on May 11 and 12. The preparations for the wedding, which is less than two months away, is in full swing.
As per the report, the date and the venue have been locked and mass bookings for flights are being done. Meanwhile, father Anil Kapoor is personally inviting his guests to the wedding. An engagement ceremony is expected to set to take place before the wedding, which will be attended only by close friends and family members.
The report also claimed that the Kapoor family had also considered Jodhpur and Udaipur for the wedding but the family finalised Geneva after months of planning.
Sonam, who had gone to Swiss city, sometime back for a brand commitment, decided to make it her wedding venue after visiting the place. Sonam and Anand were first spotted together when they made an appearance together at Akshay Kumar's Rustom success bash in 2016. Since then, they have been spotted together on multiple occasions including their family gatherings. Recently, Anand, an entrepreneur, was spotted attending Sonam's cousin Mohit Marwah's wedding, that took place in Abu Dhabi.
However, the actress has never spoken about her relationship openly.
