New Delhi: Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte starrer Padman will release on January 25, 2018. As the release date of the film comes closer, the excitement level of the film is bound to go up a notch.
Actress Sonam Kapoor took to Instagram to share a behind the scenes video from the sets of the film which will make you go ROFL.
She wrote with the video-
“Teasing Radhika on our third episode of Backseat Confessions! Being on set with these two is always non-stop laughs.”
Reports are that Padman might clash with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavat(i) at the Box Office. The movie Padmavat(i) was initially supposed to release on December 1, 2017, but got its release deferred owing to controversies.
If Padmavati releases on January 25, the two movies are going to have a clash at the box office.
Interestingly, Padman was initially slated to release on January 26, Republic Day, but a few days ago superstar Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to share the new release date.
He wrote-

For the unversed, Padman is inspired by Padma Shri awardee Arunachalam Muruganantham,the man who was instrumental in making machines that could produce affordable sanitary napkins for women in rural India and also create awareness about menstrual hygiene.
The movie is written and directed by R Balki of the Cheeni Kum and Paa fame will see Amitabh Bachchan making a special appearance.
