New Delhi: Renowned Shayar Anwar Jalalpuri passed away on Tuesday morning in Lucknow, reports suggest He was 71. Jalalpuri was admitted to a medical college in Lucknow since the last four days owing to a brain haemorrhage.
He was an Urdu shayar and had translated the holy Bhagwat Geeta in the language.
According to reports, his last rites will take place in his hometown, Jalalpur.
