New Delhi: Actress Sonam Kapoor, who has never shied away from voicing her opinion against US President Donald Trump, has something to say about him yet again. The actress called Trump an 'imbecile' in one of her Twitter posts.
It all started with a tweet by comedian and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. Ellen took to Twitter to share a picture that read, " The President has quietly started allowing elephant and other hunting trophies into the US. I'm saying it as loudly as possible: This is appalling. We need to raise our voices and make this stop." She also urged her followers to spread the word.

Sharing Ellen's tweet, Sonam Kapoor wrote, "More Hunting is illegal in India, one of the things the world can learn from us! Trump is an imbecile! @potus #proudtobeindian #preserveourworld."

This is not the first time when Sonam has taken potshots at Trump. She had earlier slammed him for calling Meryl Streep an "over-rated actress". Sonam had also dubbed Trump a "joker".

On the work front, Sonam is gearing up for her next big release 'Veere Di Wedding', which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khana and Swara Bhaskar in lead roles. The film is slated to hit the theatres on June 1, 2018.
