Top 10 Best-Selling Cars In India: THIS Affordable 7-Seater Outsells Swift, Creta, And Brezza!

The Maruti Ertiga led the rankings with 17,441 units sold, marking a 29% year-over-year (YoY) growth compared to the same period in 2023. It is priced from Rs 8.69 lakh to Rs 13.03 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Maruti Swift followed closely, selling 16,241 units with a 10% growth over 14,703 units sold in September 2023.

Hyundai Creta came in third, with sales of 15,902 units and a strong 25% YoY growth from 12,717 units in September 2023.

Maruti Brezza took fourth place with 15,322 units sold, reflecting a modest 2% growth from September last year.

The Mahindra Scorpio N and Classic secured fifth place with 14,438 units sold and a 22% increase, against 11,846 units in the same month last year.

Maruti Baleno, however, experienced a significant 22% decline in sales, falling to 14,292 units from 18,417 last year, ranking sixth.

On the other hand, the Maruti Fronx saw a 21% growth, selling 13,874 units, placing it seventh. 

Tata Punch made it to eighth place with 13,711 units sold and a 5% increase in sales. 

Maruti Wagon R, which saw a sharp 18% decline in sales, sold 13,339 units, placing it ninth. 

Finally, the Maruti Eeco closed the top ten list with 11,908 units sold, showing a steady 7% YoY growth.
