Volkswagen is all set to launch the 2021 Volkswagen Taigun compact SUV in India.
New Delhi: Volkswagen is all set to launch the 2021 Volkswagen Taigun compact SUV in India on Thursday (September 23). The German motor vehicle manufacturer has already opened the bookings for the upcoming four-wheeler that is set to retail in the country after its launch.
Volkswagen had already revealed the car much ahead of the launch date, allowing interested buyers to take a look at the specs and features of the Taigun SUV. The car is expected to rival the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier and MG Hector, among others in the compact SUV segment.

As far as the performance is considered, the Volkswagen Taigun SUV will be powered b the 1.0-litre TSI turbocharged petrol engine capable of generating maximum power of 113 bhp and 175 Nm peak torque.
A few variants will be powered by the 1.5-litre TSI turbocharged petrol engine capable of churning out 148 bhp of peak power and 250 Nm of maximum torque.
