A look at redeveloped Mahakaleshwar Temple Corridor built for Rs 800 crore; to be inaugurated by PM Modi on October 11
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate to the nation redeveloped Mahakaleshwar Temple Corridor on October 11 and the preparations for the same have started. The first phase of redevelopment work of the corridor has been completed and it will entail a total investment of Rs 800 crore.
Mahakaleshwar Temple Corridor: 800-meter mural wall
Apart from this, an 800-meter mural wall has also been built there. The government is also building a facility centre for Rs 23.90 crores. The facility centre can house around four thousand devotees. The centre will have a cloakroom with a capacity of 1500 luggage storage apart from 6000 mobile lockers.
Mahakaleshwar Temple Corridor Second Phase Redevelopment
In the second phase, Maharajwada, Rudra Sagar renovation, Chhota Rudra Sagar lakefront, beautification of Ram Ghat, parking and tourism information centre, widening of Hari Fatak bridge and railway underpass, footbridge over Rudra Sagar, Mahakal gate, Begumbagh Marg, Rudra Sagar western road and Mahakal access road will be taken up.
