New Delhi: Elon Musk is making efforts to buy Twitter. Elon Musk has secured a funding commitment of $46.5 billion for that and is planning to launch a tender offer for its shares, according to a filing with US regulators on Thursday. Musk's $43 billion bid to acquire the micro-blogging site was rejected as the Twitter board initiated a "poison pill" to limit the billionaire's ability to increase his stake.

Now, the world's richest man has confirmed five changes he will make to the microblogging site if he is successful in his bid to buy Twitter. Responding to a Tweet from a software developer, Musk confirmed a few changes he would make to the platform if he gained control of the company.

Check out the 5 changes Musk wants in Twitter:

SpaceX CEO has been vocal about the company's staunch dedication to free expression. Musk has frequently criticised the regulating tactics and features of social media platforms, and if he gains control of Twitter, he will endeavour to make the platform adhere to free speech. While Musk has often criticised regulations and stressed his desire for free speech platforms, figuring out how to combat misinformation, fake news, and hate speech on Twitter will still require work.

Musk will also work on providing the much-desired edit feature, which will allow users to change their Tweets after they have been posted. Musk has been a supporter of the edit function, and shortly after purchasing his 9.2 percent ownership, he sponsored a Twitter poll asking followers if Twitter should have an edit button.
