Fixed Deposit Alert! 7 Banks Giving 9% Interest Rates On FD To Senior Citizens

Several banks have different sets of interest rates for various tenors on fixed deposits for both general public and senior citizens. Here's looking at 7 banks that are offering upto 9 percent rate of interest on FD to senior citizens.

Equitas Small Finance Bank is offering 9% interest on 444 days FD for senior citizens. These interest rates of the bank are applicable from 21 August 2023.

ESAF Small Finance Bank is offering 9% interest on FDs from 2 years to 3 years. According to the bank's website, these rates are applicable from April 14, 2023.

Fincare Small Finance Bank FDs maturing in 500, 750 and 1000 days are fetching interest at the rate of 9, 9.43, 9.21 respectively. FD maturing in 36 months 1 day to 42 months has an interest of 9.15% for senior citizens. These rates are applicable from 26 July 2023.

Jana Small Finance Bank is offering interest of 9% on FDs maturing in 1095 days. These bank rates are applicable from 15 August 2023.

North East Small Finance Bank is offering guaranteed 9.25% interest rate on FDs maturing in 555 and 1111 days under the special scheme of the bank. According to the bank's website, these rates are applicable from June 6, 2023.

Suryoday Small Finance Bank is offering an interest rate of 9% and above on FDs maturing in 2 and 3 years. These interest rates are applicable from 7 August 2023. There is 9% interest on FDs ranging from 15 months to 2 years. Similarly, there is an interest of 9.10 per cent on deposits from 2 years to 3 years.

Unity Small Finance Bank is offering 9.25 and 9.50% interest rate on fixed period FDs. These rates are applicable from 11 August 2023. 9.25% interest is available on 6 months to 201 days FD, 9.25% on 501 days FD and 9.50% on 1001 days FD.
