Hyundai Staria Lounge Camper unveiled, gets a pop-up tent and air mattress
After unveiling the cargo van and a 15-seat school bus versions of the modular Hyundai Staria MPV, the company has now launched the Lounge Camper version.
Hyundai, the South Korean powerhouse has unveiled the Staria Lounge Camper, a camping-friendly variant of the Hyundai Staria MPV launched last year globally. The Hyundai Staria is the company's aspirational minivan that is offered in multiple configurations with 2 to 11 seats, and has already spawned a cargo van and even a 15-seat school bus dubbed Kinder (German for "children"). As for the Camper, the minivan comes in Camper 4 and Camper 11 variants, depending on the number of seats and gets an electrically deployable pop-out roof tent and an air mattress along with a refrigerator, a sink and faucet set, a folding table, and built-in side shelves.

After launching the cargo van and a 15-seat school bus dubbed Kinder (German for "children") variants, Hyundai has now introduced Lounge Camper, a camping-friendly variant of the Hyundai Staria MPV.

The Hyundai Staria is priced at 49,470,000 won or $40,000 and the luxurious Camper 4 is priced at 68,580,000 won ($55,400). You will have to shell out extra amount for additional equipment. For example, all-wheel drive (HTRAC) is priced at an extra $1,500 while various packages (comfort, convenience, camping) are also offered at an additional cost.
