Jaguar Land Rover launches most powerful Defender SUV in India: Price, specs and features
The V8-powered model of the new Defender lineup is launched at a starting price of Rs 1.82 crore (ex-showroom) in India.
New Delhi: Jaguar Land Rover has finally launched its fastest and most powerful Defender SUV in India after launching the SUV in global markets back in February 2021. Jaguar had rolled out the Defender SUV was launched in 90 and 110 variants in India early this year.
However, the new addition to the Defender lineup is backed by the powerful V8 engine. The car is now officially listed on Jaguar Land Rover’s official India site.

Jaguar Land Rover’s Defender SUV features an exclusive body colour named Carpathian Grey. The SUV also sports a satin protective film. At the bottom of the front door, you can clearly see the V8 logo that makes it more unique than other Defender SUVs in the range.
One can also easily the Defender SUV from the twin tailpipes and steering wheel wrapped with Alcantara. On the dashboard is a new 11.4-inch touchscreen that gives a premium look to the luxury SUV.

The engine is the major factor that differentiates the newly launched car from other SUVs in the range. The four-wheeler is powered by Jaguar Land Rover Group’s most powerful engine, the V8.
The firm claims that the engine can churn out a maximum power of 525 hp and a peak torque of 625 Nm. Defender SUV’s engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
