New Delhi: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on her visit to the US to attend the IMF-WB Spring Meetings 2022, met with World Bank Group President David Malpass, Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Gita Gopinath, and CEOs of top US companies, among other global and corporate leaders.  

Finance Minister noted that multilateralism has become more critical as the world is undergoing a phase of exceptional uncertainty. She discussed boiling issues such as Covid-19, the Russia-Ukraine conflict, and inflation, among others, with global leaders.
