According to the survey, Haryana has the highest unemployment rate at 25.7 percent, followed by Rajasthan at 24.5 percent.

Odisha has the lowest unemployment rate in the country at 1.47 percent, while the state's labour participation rate is 39.96 percent, according to CMIE data. According to the survey, Haryana has the highest unemployment rate at 25.7 percent, followed by Rajasthan at 24.5 percent.

Replying to a supplementary question in the Rajya Sabha, Yadav said, "employment has increased by 22 per cent in last seven years in comparison to 2013-14. Apart from the farm sector, the other nine sectors like transport, education, hospitality, trade and Information Technology (IT) have witnessed rise in employment."
