WhatsApp introduces Communities: 5 new features will improve the way we communicate on the platform
WhatsApp Communities comes with several new features that will make the conversations more engaging on the platform.
New Delhi: WhatsApp, on Thursday (April 14), introduced ‘Communities’ on the messaging platform to introduce a slew of new features that will improve the way how we communicate with our friends and families on the messaging platform.
In a blog post, WhatsApp’s parent company Meta said that since its launch in 2009, the messaging platform has remained focused on how it can help people have the next best thing to an in-person conversation when they want to talk to an individual or a group of friends or family.
“We also frequently hear from people who are using WhatsApp to communicate and coordinate within a community,” Meta said, adding that “Communities on WhatsApp will enable people to bring together separate groups under one umbrella with a structure that works for them.”
