Alia Bhatt didn't flout COVID protocols when she travelled to Delhi with Ranbir Kapoor for 'Brahmastra'
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt did not violate any COVID-19 quarantine rule while travelling to Delhi. The actress came under scrutiny after she flew down to Delhi for 'Brahmastra' motion poster launch, days after she attended an intimate gathering at filmmaker Karan Johar’s house, following which several people tested positive for the novel virus.
A BMC official told News18 that Alia had a negative COVID-19 test report before going to Delhi and was not found violating any COVID protocols. "Alia Bhatt was not in quarantine. She had tested negative in RTPCR and therefore no action warranted against her," a senior BMC official said.
