Feroz Khan, who swayed everyone with his powerful style and persona, delivered many hits over the course of his career such as Aurat, Upaasna, Apradh, Kala Sona, Dharmatma, and Qurbani. For his exemplary performances and directorial ventures, he was given the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award in 200. The actor passed away on 27 April 2009 at the age of 69.
Feroz Khan directed the first Indian film shot in Afghanistan
After late veteran actor Feroz Khan made his mark as an actor, he went on to producing and directing films. He had directed the 1975 film Dharmatma in which he also starred along with Hema Malini. It was the first Indian film to be shot in Afghanistan and was heavily influenced by the American film 'The Godfather'.

He starred, directed and produced 'Qurbani' which was a big hit
The biggest hit of his career was the 1980 film 'Qurbani' co-starring Vinod Khanna, Zeenat Aman. Along with acting, he had produced and directed the film as well. It is best known for its iconic song 'Aap Jaisa Koi' sung by Pakistani pop singer Nazia Hassan who shot to fame after the song.
