Happy Birthday Taapsee Pannu: Scroll through lesser-known facts about the 'Haseen Dillruba' actress!

Taapsee Pannu's parents are of Punjabi descent. She has a younger sister named Shagun who she is really close to and often posts pictures of on her social media. Shagun had joined her on Taapsee's recent vacation to Russia. 

The 'Thappad' actress completed her schooling at Mata Jai Kaur Public School in Ashok Vihar. Being the brainiac that she was, Taapsee decided to graduate in Computer Science Engineering at Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology.

After graduating from college, Taapsee didn't immediately step into acting. In fact, she worked as a software engineer before dipping her toes in the entertainment industry. In 2008, she turned to a full-time model after auditioning for the Channel V show Get Gorgeous.

Taapsee has a strong interest in sports and co-owns the badminton team Pune 7 aces with KRI Entertainment. The team that plays in Premier Badminton League is coached by her boyfriend Mathias Boe.

It's a lesser know fact but in 2018, Taapsee had featured on Forbes India's list of Celebrity 100. She ranked at the 67th position and the publication estimated her income to be Rs 15.48 crore.
