Who is 'Madras Cafe' actress Leena Maria Paul, held in Rs 200 cr extortion case?
Malayam actress Leena Paul was recently arrested by Delhi Police's Economic Offences Wing for her involvement in a Rs 200 crore extortion case.
She is the wife of alleged 'conman' Sukesh Chandrashekhar, whose Chennai-based sea-facing bungalow, 16 high-end luxury cars were seized by the ED in August 2021.

Sukesh and Leena have been involved in multiple controversies, scams
In 2013, the couple was arrested for allegedly cheating a bank located in Chennai of a whopping Rs 19 crore. As per a PTI report, her husband Sukesh better known by his alias Balaji had allegedly posed as an IAS officer and sought a Rs 19 crore loan for an unnamed project.

Leena was almost shot by two masked shooters at her parlour in 2018
The actress owns a beauty parlour in Kochi, Kerala. Last year, it was raided by the Central Bureau of Investigation after the Anti-Corruption Bureau, Hyderabad directed the agency to do so. Earlier, in 2018, two masked men had attempted to shoot Leena at her beauty parlour, however, there were no casualties in the shootout.
