Flash floods in Nirmand, Sainj, and Malana areas of Kullu, Padhar in Mandi, and Rampur in Shimla districts were caused by cloudbursts. Search efforts for the 45 missing individuals are ongoing, with rescuers using additional machinery, sniffer dogs, drones, and other equipment to aid in the operation.  A "yellow" alert has been issued for heavy rains, expected to continue until August 10.
