PM Narendra Modi on Thursday attended an event in Assam's Dibrugarh. The Prime Minister inaugurated a range of projects linked to healthcare, agriculture and education. PM Modi was joined by CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, Ratan Tata and Central Minister Sarbananda Sonowal.  The event witnessed a large gathering.

In a big statement, PM Modi said that Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act (AFSPA) can be repealed. PM Modi also inaugurated Cancer Centre at Assam Medical College & Hospital campus, Dibrugarh.
