The Andhra Police came in solidarity with the Punjab police personnel Harjeet Singh whose hand was chopped off while guarding the Patiala city amid the COVID-19 lockdown. The police officials wore the nameplate of Harjeet Singh on their dresses.
Anjani Kumar, Hyderabad Police Commissioner in a letter to DGP Punjab said, "Today more than 2 thousand police officers wore the name plate of brave Harjeet Singh of our fraternity . We feel proud that we wear the same khaki which he wears."

IAF’S fight against COVID-19 (1)
Indian Air Force (IAF) has stepped up its efforts to meet all the emerging requirements of the Govt of India during the ongoing novel corona virus pandemic. IAF continues to airlift essential supplies of medicine and ration along with medical personnel within the country, to equip state governments and supporting agencies to combat the contagion effectively.
IAF’S fight against COVID-19 (2)
On April 25, IAF's transport aircraft landed at Lengpui Airport in Mizoram with 22 tonnes of medical supplies meant for combating COVID-19. The supplies were airlifted for the governments of Mizoram and Meghalaya. To date, IAF has transported approximately 600 tonnes of medical equipment and support material.
