India lockdown amid coronavirus COVID-19 scare: Special AC trains start on Day 49

Another bunch of people on Tuesday boarded the Singapore-Delhi flight to reach their homes amid the COVID-19 lockdown. This has been an initiative by the Govt of India under Mission Vande Bharat, where many people from across the world are being brought back to India.

The Indian Railways on May 12 started allowing people travel through "special trains" with certain precautions and guidelines. In the picture, people are waiting to enter the New Delhi Railway Station.

Chennai Customs Airport on Monday facilitated one special relief flight  'VT-CRA'. It is an Air Ambulance flight carrying one passenger and 4 crew members who arrived from the Maldives.
