Kunzes Angmo, 29-year old who started 'Vocal for Local' 4 years ago in Ladakh

Kunzes who is 29-year old has been providing the local Ladakhi products with an international platform.

Ladakh: Kunzes Angmo from Choglamsar in the Leh district of Ladakh, is the brand ambassador of 'Vocal for Local' in the UT as she began the Make in India campaign around 4 years ago with an initiative to put a complete ban on the Chinese products.
 
Amidst the ongoing border stand-off between India and China, not far away from where Kunzes lives, she has a set a prime example of endorsing the Make in India products.

After the recent violent clashes between the Indian Army and Peoples Liberation Army of China, the nation has started a boycott Chinese goods movement.

Kunzes who is 29-year old has been providing the local Ladakhi products with an international platform.

After completing her studies from Delhi, Kunzes started to work to take the Ladakhi products to an international level and has been successful as the products are now being exported to France. Kunzes took Rs 25 lakh loan under the Prime Ministers Employment Generation Programme and began working on Pashmina and woollen products along with other women.
