On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s death anniversary, Indian President Ram Nath Kovind paid homage to the Father of Nation on Martyrs’ Day and attended Sarva Dharma Prarthana at Raj Ghat in New Delhi on Sunday January 30, 2022.

"Remembering Bapu on his Punya Tithi. It is our collective endeavour to further popularise his noble ideals. Today, on Martyrs’ Day, paying homage to all the greats who courageously safeguarded our nation. Their service and bravery will always be remembered," wrote Modi on Bapu's death anniversary.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Raj Ghat and paid floral tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at on his death anniversary in New Delhi on Sunday.

“When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible but in the end, they always fall. Think of it always," wrote Rahul Gandhi on Twitter while remembering Bapu.
