As the focus of the saffron camp shifts to Gujarat polls, PM Modi, who ruled Gujarat for over two decades, started off with a grand roadshow in Ahmedabad from the airport to the Bharatiya Janata Party headquarters.
The BJP leader also addressed a Mahapanchayat where he addressed the village representatives of Gujarat and harped on the importance of Grameen Vikas.
The prime minister also attended the convocation ceremony at the Rashtriya Raksha University in Gandhinagar. He also met his mother and held two roadshows there.
Modi's two-day jam-packed trip ended with an address at the inauguration of the 11th edition of `Khel Mahakumbh', an annual sports competition organized by the Gujarat government.
