The Vande Bharat 2.0 was flagged off by PM Narendra Modi and the train will ply between Mumbai and Gandhinagar. This updated train now gets additional features and will cut travel time between the two states.
The third Vande Bharat Express for India was recently launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It runs between the state capitals of Gujarat and Maharashtra. The third semi-high-speed railway in the nation, the Mumbai-Gandhinagar Vande Bharat, will significantly shorten the overall distance travelled. However, the inaugural Vande Bharat Express, which made stops in Kanpur and Allahabad along the way between Delhi and Varanasi, was officially launched on February 15. A total of 75 such trains will be implemented in the nation, according to PM Modi's statement on Independence Day last year, to connect various regions of the country.

The KAVACH (Train Collision Avoidance System) is used by the semi-high-speed train to increase operational safety. The Vande Bharat train also has four emergency windows on each coach. In addition, it now has four platform side cameras instead of just two, including rearward cameras outside the coach.
