Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) won the toss and opted to bat first against Steve Smith's Rajasthan Royals in the second tie between the two sides in the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Monday.
CSK headed into clash on the back of a five-wicket defeat at the hands of leaders Delhi Capitals, Rajasthan came into the match after slumping to seven-wicket defeat against RCB in their previous fixture.
In the previous encounter between the two sides, RR sealed a 16-run win over MS Dhoni's franchise. While Rajasthan will aim to make it two against CSK, Chennai will be keen to shrugg off the defeat and settle the scores. (Image Credits: Twitter/@IPL)

A half-century stand between MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja came to an end after the CSK skipper was run out on the fourth ball of the 18th over by Kartik Tyagi. Dhoni flicked the delivery to the left of Jofra Archer at long-off.
