IPL 2021: Rohit Sharma touches 400 milestone, six batters who have hit more sixes than Mumbai Indians skipper

Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma is the seventh batter overall to unlock the feat in the shorter format of the game.

Rohit Sharma on Tuesday completed a milestone covered by none of the other Indian batters. In the Indian Premier League (IPL) clash between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Rajasthan Royals (RR), the right-handed opener went on to hit his 400th six in T20s.

MI skipper Rohit is the seventh batter overall to unlock the feat in the shorter format of the game. Out of the 400 sixes, 133 have come while playing for India, 227 in the IPL, 16 in the Champions League T20, and the remaining 24 in other T20 tournaments.
