Australia emerge victorious by a margin of 48 runs against Bangladesh despite a fighting century by Mushfiqur Rahim. The Aussies go top of the table and will look to ensure a similar performance in the upcoming clashes as well. 

Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah are the last recognised pair for Bangladesh following the dismissals of Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal. Bangladesh need 118 runs from the last eight overs and some big hits will certainly be needed to score the required runs. 

Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal has completed his half-century following the early dismissal of fellow opener Soumya Sarkar for just 10 runs off 8 deliveries. 

Australia finish the innings with a score of 381 runs for the loss of five wickets. David Warner smashed a century which was further backed by excellent knocks from Aaron Finch, Usman Khawaja and Glenn Maxwell.

David Warner has been dismissed for 166 which is the highest individual score in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Soumya Sarkar dismissed the opener with a slow bouncer which Warner failed to direct effectively, resulting in an easy catch to Rubel Hossain.

Usman Khawaja scores his first half-century of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 off 50 deliveries, further completing a 100-run stand with David Warner at the other end.

David Warner has scored his second century of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 having accumulated two half-centuries as well. The Australian opener will be looking to lead his side on to a strong finish following the century.

David Warner and Usman Khawaja have converted a partnership of fifty runs to a 100 run partnership in the space of a few overs. Bangladesh are in need of a wicket at this stage.   

Aaron Finch and David Warner have registered their fifth half-century stand in six games for Australia. Team Australia will look to kick on and build on the positive opening stand.

Bangladesh skipper Masrafe Mortaza is set to bowl the opening over of the innings. David Warner will be facing the first delivery.

Australian skipper Aaron Finch has won the toss and opted to bat. Nathan Coulter Nile, Adam Zampa and Marcus Stoinis have been included in the Australia side in place of Jason Behendroff, Shaun Marsh and Jhye Richardson. Rubel Hossain, Sabbir Rehman replaced Saifuddin and Mosaddek for Bangladesh.
