Warner and Saha engaged in a mammoth 151-run stand and took their side home in just 17.1 overs. SRH, thus, qualified for the remaining IPL 2020 Playoffs berth. No MI bowler had any answer on the day and it was clearly evident as to how important the duo of Boult and Bumrah is to their fortunes. Bumrah, Boult and Hardik Pandya had all been rested for this game and it all showed in their dismal performance on the day.

Due to SRH's better run-rate SRH finished at the third position in the points table, ahead of RCB. KKR were ousted from the tournament.

Wriddhiman Saha, playing just his third match of IPL 2020, scored his 2nd fifty of the tournament. It seemed like a race between Warner and Saha at first as to who betters the other but Saha showcased his maturity, giving more of the strike to his skipper - who was timing the ball just a tad bit better.

Saha finished at 58 (off 45 balls; 4x7, 6x1)

Warner and Saha remained unbeaten, engaging in a 151-run match-winning partnership.

Warner was in imperious touch on the day and his hat-trick of fours against his compatriot James Pattinson was the highlight of the day. Any ball which gave him even the slightest of margins, was dispatched.

Warner finished at a majestic 85* (off 58 balls; 4x10, 6x1) and in the end it felt like he wanted to finish it of early.

The intent on the faces of SRH openers Wriddhiman Saha and skipper David Warner was visible as the duo took their side off to a flying start. The two seasoned players, took full advantage of the fielding resctriction in the opening powerplay - taking SRH to 56/0 in the first 6 overs.

SunRisers Hyderabad restricted Mumbai Indians to a sub-par 149/8.

If not for Pollard's four sixes at the death, the total would have been much lower. Sandeep Sahrma was the pick of the bowlers with a spell of 4-0-34-3 and he was good company by Jason Holder (2-25) and Shahbaz Nadeem (2-19).

Kieron Pollard, so often Mumbai's linchpin, came to his side's rescue yet again. With Mumbai ambling along at just 119/7 after 18 overs, Pollard hit Natarajan for three consecutive sixes in the penultimate over of their innings before hitting another huge one in the final over bowled by Jason Holder. 

Pollard made 41 (off 25 balls; 4x2, 6x4) and was finally dismissed by Holder in the final over, right after hitting a six.

The 12th over of the Mumbai Indians innings proved to be a game changing one. It was Shahbaz Nadeem who turned things around by breaking the dangerous partnership of Suryakumar and Ishan Kishan.

Suryakumar was outfoxed in the flight and Saha stumped him out while just three balls later, Krunal Pandya departed after he played his shot on the leg side early and Williamson completed a fantastic catch.

With the score reading 39/2, SRH were slighty ahead in the race to take the reigns of the match. The in-form duo of Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan mounted a fine counter-attack with a pacy 42-run stand in the middle overs.

Sandeep Sharma once again provided the opening breakthrough when he dismissed Rohit Sharma in just the third over. The returning Rohit miscued a knuckle-ball from Sandeep and gave a straight catch to Warner on the off-side. 

Following this, Qunton de Kock hit Sandeep for two sixes and a four on the opening three balls in the latter's next over. Sandeep, though, made a strong comeback and bowled him up with a wide in-swinging full toss. 

SunRisers Hyderabad won the toss and opted to field first. In a huge boost to them, Rohit Sharma came out for the toss which meant he was playing this game.

Mumbai Indians made three changes to their XI: Rohit Sharma returned in place of Jayant Yadav. Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah were both rested for this game - being replaced by James Pattinson and Dhawal Kulkarni respectively.

Hardik Pandya was being rested for a second consecutive game.
