Former Australian cricketer Michael Clarke has brought a new five-bedroom home in Sydney’s elite suburb Vaucluse in the auction for a price of around AUD$13 million (Rs 70 crore approx.). The recent purchase comes only six months after Clarke was forced to sell his neighbouring matrimonial home with ex-wife Kyly for AUD$12 million, which the couple had bought for AUD$8.3 million seven years ago.

The recent purchase comes only six months after Clarke was forced to sell his neighbouring matrimonial home with ex-wife Kyly for AUD$12 million, which the couple had bought for AUD$8.3 million seven years ago.
The “bachelor pad” is spread on a 784 sqm area and it features five bedrooms, heated limestone floors, a grand wrought-iron staircase, formal and informal living and dining rooms, a reading room, and a Tuscan-style cabana by the mineralised swimming pool.
Clarke is yet to settle on the house but has been spotted coming and going from the new crib.
