IPL 2021: Why other countries love to hate India's T20 league
Kolkata Knight Riders all-rounder and former Bangladesh skipper Shakib al Hasan has been in the eye of the storm for choosing his franchise over country by deciding to skip the country's tour of New Zealand to take part in IPL 2021. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) mulled over the options of withdrawing NOC given to Shakib al Hasan for taking part in IPL 2021. But Shakib isn't the only cricketer to be mired in this controversy with Ben Stokes' participation for Rajasthan Royals also drawing fans' ire.

England and Rajasthan Royals all-rounder Ben Stokes came up with a savage reply to a troll, who questioned his priorities as far as playing for his country and for his IPL club is concerned. "Chasing a pound note again, once back in an England shirt will be too tired to bowl,” a Twitter user wrote. "When have I ever been too tired to bowl in a England shirt pal???” Ben Stokes replied.
