New Delhi: Indian cinema saw its biggest blockbuster in the face of SS Rajamouli's 'Baahubali' franchise. The first part 'Baahubali: The Beginning' completed two successful years on July 10, 2017, and the lead man Prabhas shared a heartfelt post on Facebook.
Prabhas played the double role of Amarendra Baahubali and Mahendra Baahubali aka Sivudu in Telugu and Shivu in Tamil respectively. The film witnessed a mammoth success and the lead actor became a nation's heartthrob in no time.
He got all nostalgic and wrote: “Today marks the completion of two years to the release of a very special film of mine, Baahubali: The Beginning. I feel a deep sense of nostalgia and I have been reminiscing the early days when the entire team was working on this film with so much passion. I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all my fans who don't leave any chance to make me feel so loved and special. Congratulations to the entire Baahubali team for this day, especially the man behind all of it, SS Rajamouli. We owe it all to you.”
'Baahubali' franchise has set the bar really high and the audience has loved every bit of it. The film had an impressive star cast with the likes of Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah, Sathyaraj, Nassar to name a few.
