New Delhi: 'Queen' released in 2014 which starred Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao in the lead. The movie was critically acclaimed and did good business.
According to a report by TimesOfIndia.com Kajal Aggarwal has now been approached to play the role of 'Rani' in the Tamil remake of the same.
It also stated that Tamannaah was the first choice for the movie but for some reason, it did not work out and she chose to opt out of the project.
Amy Jackson will be seen playing the role of 'VijayLakshmi' which was originally played by Lisa Haydon.
Ramesh Arvind will direct the Tamil remake of 'Queen'.
