New Delhi: Southern star Nayanthara, who is one of the top-billed female actresses in Tamil cinema, recently admitted her relationship with Vignesh Shivan at an awards show.
Recently, Nayanthara won an award at a show hosted by a media firm in Chennai. While receiving the award for Excellence in Entertainment, Nayan gave an acceptance speech that confirmed the couple's relationship. The actress was quoted saying, "I thank my mom, dad, brother and 'fiancé' for constantly supporting me. This awards show is a lot different from all the film awards shows that I had attended so far. I will go back home even more inspired after seeing all the women achievers around me."
Though, she did not mention Vignesh in her speech. But her reference to the word 'fiancee' clearly announced that she was referring to him. Meanwhile, speculations have been rife that the duo can tie the knot anytime this year.
Vignesh Shivan gave Nayan, the biggest hit of her career, 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan', post her comeback. It is said that the two started dating each other on the sets of the film. The film turned out to be a milestone in their careers. Recently, the couple was spotted holidaying together in the US.
