New Delhi: The International Space Station (ISS) has been a subject of much envy for science enthusiasts. They would do anything for a chance to go aboard it and see for themselves, the beauty of planet Earth from space, as well as be a part of the experiments that the astronauts conduct.
The astronauts aboard NASA's orbiting laboratory have time and again treated viewers with stunning photographs taken from their vantage point inside the ISS, which have awed and delighted people no end.
Now, to further familiarize space enthusiasts across the world with the space station, NASA recently shared a video of a fly-through, or a tour, of the of the ISS, that was shot in ultra high definition, “using a fisheye lens for extreme focus and depth of field.”
Starting from the cupola, which is a module with seven windows, (which is probably where all the incredible images are taken from), the video goes on to show the Zarya functional cargo block, the Pirs (Russian for Pier) docking port, the Kibo Japanese experiment logistics module, and all the other areas inside the space station.
This video will take you on a never-seen-before journey which will help you get an insight into the things that go on inside the ISS.
Recently, the public has shown great interest in space videos. Social media pages recently aired a "fake" space walk video on Facebook Live that confused many online viewers due to the claim that the spacewalk was taking place in 'real time'. Apparently, it is believed that the video was from a 2013 space walk and shouldn't be categorized as a live footage.
