Asia Cup 2016: India vs Sri Lanka, Match 7 – Players to watch out for

Mirpur: Unbeaten India take on Sri Lanka in Match 7 of Asia Cup 2016 at Shere Bangla National Stadium.

While MS Dhoni's men have performed brilliantly in their last two matches, Lasith Malinga's team was stunned by Bangladesh in their previous match which the hosts won by 23 runs.

Here are the players to watch out for the seventh match of tournament:

Yuvraj Singh: Despite his patient knock against Pakistan, the southpaw is finding it difficult to find his rhythm. Fans have raised questions over his batting form and it remains to be seen whether Yuvraj can finally set the tournament on fire with a blitzkrieg knock.

Hardik Pandya: Be it bowling, fielding or clobbering balls over the ropes, Pandya has emerged out as an all-round package for the Men in Blue. While the Lankans would want their two spinners – Rangana Herath and Sachithra Senanayeke to spin a web around the Indian batsmen – MS Dhoni might once again promote Pandya up the order to unsettle the bowlers.

Angelo Mathews: In the absence of senior players, the pressure is now Mathews to do bulk of the scoring. He has managed to score just 20 runs in the last two innings against UAE and Bangladesh. He is a far more better batsman that what we have seen of him in the tournament and a big knock is due from his willow.

Lasith Malinga: Indian batsmen, especially MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli have learnt the art of decoding his yorkers in the last few years. The Lankan bowling attack is very inexperienced and the team will want their skipper to lead from the front and put a good show against India's star-studded batting line-up.
