New Delhi: Pakistani pacer Mohammad Amir probably bowled the spell of his life against India in the Asia Cup T20 on Saturday.
After being invited to bat first, when Pakistan got bowled out for 83, it seemed as if it's going to be be cake walk for power-packed Indian batting line up. But, Mohammad Amir, had some other plans.
The 23-year-old's fiery spell pushed the Indian's on the back-foot.
Amir gave India two big blows straightaway in the first over of the innings, when he trapped Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane.
He then sent back Suresh Raina to the pavilion in his 2nd over to reduce India to 3 for 8.
The pacer kept troubling Indian batsmen with his pace and impeccable line and length.
Amir bowled his quota of four overs on the trot and ended up with the impressive figures of 4-18-3.
Though, eventually his efforts went in vain as Pakistan lost the match by five wickets, Amir's received praise from the cricket fraternity for his memorable spell.
