India vs Pakistan, Asia Cup T20: Five players to watch out for

New Delhi: The biggest encounter of Asia Cup T20 is all set to take place on Saturday, when arch-rivals India and Pakistan lock horns at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur.

Whenever these two teams face each other, it's always been like Indian batsmen against Pakistan bowlers.

Ahead of the high-profile clash, here are the five players who could play big roles for their respected sides.

Rohit Sharma: The opener has been in exceptional form. Once he sets his eyes in, it's almost impossible for bowlers to get him out. If he manages to give India a good start up the order against Pakistan, then it won't be difficult for India to beat the old rivals.

Virat Kohli: The backbone of Indian batting line up, Kohli has an astonishing track record against Pakistan. It seems as if Pakistan bowlers are still trying to decode the trick to get his wicket cheaply. Once again, all eyes would be on the Delhi boy when Indian batsmen come to face Pakistani bowlers.

Jasprit Bumrah: Since making his India debut during the tour of Australia, this Gujarat bowler has emerged as a new bowling sensation for the team. His unorthodox bowling action and a knack of bowling yorkers at will makes him a dangerous weapon. However, it would be interesting to see him bowl in a high-pressure match, like the one against Pakistan.

Shahid Afridi: Pakistan T20 skipper has been part of so many Indo-Pak clashes in the past. The all-rounder's experience can come handy for his side. Mind it! Afridi, at 35, is still one of the best all-rounders in the shortest format of the game. Can he lead his side with examples in their opening match of the Asia Cup? Will get to know this soon.

Wahab Riaz: We all know what he is capable of. His outstanding spell against India in the 2011 Word Cup is still fresh in the minds of many Indians. The left-arm seamer has the ability to swing the ball at a decent pace, which could trouble Indian batsmen once again. Now it would be interesting to see how well skipper Afridi utilises his most potent weapon against India.
