Ravichandran Ashwin retains top spot in ICC Test all-rounder's list

New Delhi: India's star cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin, who has been speed-dating in all three formats of the game, has continued to retain his top spot in the ICC's leading all-rounders' table, as world cricket body came out with fresh rankings on Wednesday.

The premier offie also managed to retain his second position in the bowling list.

No other Indian bowler is in the top ten, except Ashwin's spinner partner Ravindra Jadeja (sixth spot), who picked up 23 wickets in last four-match Test series against South Africa.

England's speedster Stuart Broad is at the zenith of the rankings.

As far as Test batting chart is concerned, skipper Steven Smith of Australia remained the number one Test batsman. The sole Indian batsman who managed to remain in top ten list is Ajinkya Rahane, who shares the spot with another Australian Adam Voges.

Earlier on Tuesday India regained the top Test rankings a gap of almost four-and-half years, following England's 2-1 series victory over former table toppers South Africa.

India returned to the summit of the Test rankings for the first time since August 2011.
