BCCI has zeroed in on these two potential venues for September's mini-IPL!

New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is keen on hosting a mini-IPL in the month of September.

After announcing its decision informally, the Indian board is now looking at possible venues for the high-profile event.

According to a report in the Times of India, a decision on this front will be reached after active consultation with franchises.

North America and UAE have emerged as the new likely destinations to host the tournament, which replaces the Champions League T20.

Several big-name players including the likes of Dale Steyn have expressed their reservations about such an event.
