Cricket All-Stars Series: Shane Warne thanks fans, players for amazing 10 days in America

New Delhi: Legendary Australian cricketer Shane Warne thanked fans and all the retired cricketers, who participated in the maiden Cricket All-Stars Series in America, after the successful three-match tournament came to an end.

Warne took to social media site Instagram to express his feeling. 

 

@sachintendulkar & I are very happy with the way our first #cricketallstars series went. We thank all the 100,000 fans who turned up in America to watch, the millions of viewers who tuned in around the world, the players, sponsors & everyone who was involved. The next series will be announced very soon, so stay tuned as the #cricketallstars has arrived ! Lastly, a huge thankyou to my partner in #cricketallstars Sachin for his dedication, patience & vision, it was an absolute pleasure to do this together ! In the entire tournament, 1, 191 runs were being scored overall and 36 wickets fell.

Well known 29 former cricketers formed two teams -- Sachin’s Blasters and Warne’s Warriors.

Eventually, Warriors clinched the series by beating Blasters in all the matches.
