New Delhi: Anil Kumble's first trip with the Indian side did not go as planned as the airline left his kit behind in London.
The Indian team had stopover at Gatwick airport before arriving at their destination in St Kitts on Thursday.
Acknowledging their error, the British Airways took to social micro-blogging site to assure Kumble in a rather amusing manner.
@anilkumble1074 We're sorry your bags are 'not out' to St Kitts! They have been 'caught behind' your flight from Gatwick. We are looking 1/2

@anilkumble1074 to 'bowl' you over with our service recovery. 2/2

BA had earlier faced the ire of Indian cricket fans after master blaster Sachin Tendulkar complained of poor service and a 'don't care' attitude of its staff.
Unlike Tendulkar, Kumble was in a joyous mood on arriving at the St Kitts airport, even taking selfies with the Team India boys.
India and West Indies will play a four-match Test series starting July 21 at Antigua.
Before that, Virat Kohli's men are scheduled to play two warm-up games against West Indies Cricket Board President's XI on July 9-10 and July 14-16 at Warner Park, Basseterre.
