Expect huge queues, traffic jams if Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni visit Pakistan: Wasim Akram

New Delhi: A new controversy hit Pakistan cricket after skipper Shahid Afridi claimed to have received more love from Indian fans than even back home.

While Javed Miandad termed the all-rounder's comments as 'shameful', Wasim Akram on Monday sided with Afridi during an interview to India Today TV channel.

The legendary pacer said that he too was given a lot of love by Indian fans and cited the standing ovation his team got in Chennai in 1999 after beating India in a Test match as an example.

Akram went on to add that if Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni travel to Pakistan, there will be huge queues and traffic blocks in the country to catch a glimpse of them.

The Kolkata Knight Riders' bowling coach stated that the focus now should be on the ICC World Twenty20 instead of Afridi's comments.
