New Delhi: Former England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff is trending big time on Twitter after he compared Virat Kohli with Joe Root, following which Amitabh Bachchan gave him a fitting reply. (ICC World T20: FULL COVERAGE | SCHEDULE)
As the cricket fraternity praised Kohli's stupendous knock against Australia in ICC World Twenty20, Flintoff too joined in and posted the following tweet.
At this rate @imVkohli will be as good as @root66 one day ! Not sure who @englandcricket will meet in the final now !

Big B, who seems to be closely following the tournament, didn't take much time in replying to Flintoff's Tweet.
@flintoff11 @imVkohli @root66 @englandcricket Root who ? जड़ से उखाड़ देंगे Root ko ..!!!

That was not the end of the banter as Flintoff tagged Mr Bachchan's tweet with the following message.
Sorry who's this ? https://t.co/sjhs7HGT1d

While the Bollywood legend posted no more tweets to Flintoff, a fan, who runs Ravindra Jadeja's parody account on Twitter (@SirJadeja), replied with the following tweet.
Beta @flintoff11,
"Rishtey Me To Wo Tumhare Baap Lagtey Hain, Naam Hai Shahenshaah". ;) @SrBachchan #IndvsAus pic.twitter.com/r4dKZjV2YX

Flintoff, who was criticised by several Indian fans for trolling Amitabh Bachchan, later said that people don't get the tongue-in-cheek humour.
Getting a taste of what it is like to be @piersmorgan ,some abuse flying about ,some people just don't understand the term "tongue in cheek"
