New Delhi: Bollywood superstar and the most respected gentleman in the film fraternity, Amitabh Bachchan, will be singing the Indian national anthem at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
India face arch-rivals Pakistan ion a crucial Super 10, Group 2 encounter in the ongoing ICC World Twenty20.
Meanwhile, famous Pakistani singer Shafqat Amanat Ali, who has made a huge impression over the years with his melodies in Bollywood, will be singing the Pakistani national anthem prior to the India-Pakistan clash.
Speaking to IANS after his arrival, Amanat Ali said that it's a huge honour for him to sing the anthem alongside Amitabh Bachchan.
"It's a huge honour for me to be here for this grand occasion. I am excited to be singing my national anthem at Eden Garden, and all the more excited about performing alongside Amitabh Bachchan... I am really looking forward to it," Shafqat said.
The brilliant talented singer arrived in Kolkata on Friday and posted a photo on Twitter saying he will see everybody at the satdium on Saturday.
